What I'm working on: Scrappy Sawtooth Stars
I’m glad that the autumn quilting course at Arbis started again - because I managed to find three more orange and three more violet fabrics in their fabric stash. Good thing that you can take and donate pieces to that stash if you happen to be taking a sewing course there. That fact has already helped me immensely with both the Color block quilts, the One for Emma quilt, and the EPP-projects.
I’m glad.
I now have 30 violet stars and 36 orange stars already sewn. That means I have all the orange star blocks I need (yay!), so I now only need 6 more violet fabrics and I’m good to go.
It means the project is moving forward. All forward motion counts, especially if I want to meet my quilting goals for 2018. One of them is ”to finish 12 quilts during 2018”.
Unless I get some fabric scrap help, this might not be true for Scrappy Sawtooth Stars.
But I’m hopeful now, because 6 violet fabrics doesn’t sound too unobtainable.
The exception here is Pinterest, because I give you permission to pin my photos there IF YOU CITE THEM AS COMING FROM THIS BLOG AND THUS FROM ME.
I understand that Pinterest is useful for saving tutorials and photos for quilting inspiration, because I use it that way myself, and I'm okay with you doing that too - but PLEASE: "cite when you write". Give the creator some credit, will you? I have nothing against you trying to make something similar, or even selling it, but I'd like to get some credit for being your inspiration. Why? Well, because lots of crafts are passed down from person to person, and it feels nice to be able to say "yes, I taught you how to make that".
What I DON*T LIKE is you flat out stealing my photos and my written text.
